On that occasion, the President stressed the strong ties between the two countries, although he expressed his disappointment for some of France&#8217;s recent decisions. His visit boosted the two countries&#8216; bilateral relations, as demonstrated by the agreements struck by some Egyptian businessmen with French partners in different fields. On that occasion, the President stressed the strong ties between the two countries, although he also leveled some criticism at France for a few controversial steps it made. The President&#8217;s visit boosted these already strong relations, as demonstrated by the agreements struck by some Egyptian businessmen with French partners. Among them are a deal to found a health care center, a partnership with a famous car parts company and an agreement to bid for Egypt&#8217;s oil exploration licenses.
