The EGBC is a German-Egyptian body which aims to boost investment and business cooperation between the two countries. (Available in Arabic \u2013 German in PDF)<br \/>\nAfter being elected chairman of the Egyptian German Business Council (EGBC), Dr. Nader Riad said he would work on strengthening business and investment cooperation between Germany and Egypt and promoting Egyptian exports among German consumers. The Council is run by a committee which will hold its first meeting in Frankfurt after an important conference on European-Middle Eastern business cooperation. EGBC members will also meet German MPs to discuss cooperation in tourism and investment. The Council, which aims to increase German-Egyptian bilateral business cooperation, is made up of 15 members, two of whom are honorary.
