In this regard, the German ambassador in Cairo said Egypt should indeed boost its relations with the whole European Union, not only with his country, in light of the EU recent expansion.(Available in Arabic \u2013 German in PDF )<br \/>\nAt the general assembly of the German Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC), high-level personalities from Egypt and Germany had their say on future prospects of cooperation between the two countries. Egypt\u2019s minister of industry and technological development stressed his country\u2019s sincere intention to strengthen its relations with Germany in the fields of industry, design, technology and more. In this regard, he praised the role played by the GACIC to achieve this goal. For his part, Mahmoud Mohieldin said the Egyptian economy had improved as confirmed by some international reports, yet more remained to be done to cut interest rates and create new job opportunities.
