Dr. Nader Riad explains why he strongly backs this idea and what Egypt, for its part, should do to curb unemployment. This would be part of a comprehensive plan of action to establish a free trade area among these states. According to Dr. Riad, the chairman of the Chamber&#8217;s Industry Committee, such a step would maximize Arab countries&#8216; common benefits. He believes this should be prompted by the current major shifts on the international arena, which are mainly based on liberalization.
