Abul Enein said that the continuing to apply this decree in its current state would threaten more than 16 million workers who are affiliated with this sector. He said that Egypt does not have a steel and iron industry, but it has complementary industries for reshaping steel and iron. He called for the modernization of this industry by separating the workshops from the factories&#8216; administration and amending the production with little investments to help upgrading this sector.
