According to Dr. Nader Riad, it is expected that the industry would be encouraged to export in order to benefit from the relative increase in the value of foreign currency and to save part of the imported goods it needs. It also expected that the banking system would free the value of interest on dollar deposits, compared to international interest rate values, which should attract dollar deposits in Egyptian banks without falling into the phenomenon of dollarism. Especially that interest on the Egyptian Pound is still an attracting factor.
