At the same time, great attention was paid to modern technology, seen as fundamental to compete and achieve growth in the current global economy. It was attended by speakers from across the globe, and they agreed that protecting such rights is indispensable to achieve economic development, especially for developing countries. They also stressed that growth in the current global economy cannot do without modern ideas and technology, and that swift technological development has radically changed international competition.
