The law will be implemented by a specialized body with an independent budget. The goal of the law is to face harmful monopolistic practices and protect consumers, thus increasing efficiency of consumer protection agencies in the coming stage.(Available in Arabic \u2013 German in PDF )<br \/>\nThis article discusses The People&#8217;s Assembly, lower house of parliament, which recently passed the long-awaited Competition Protection and Anti-Monopoly Law to control the market and eliminate any monopolistic practices.
