The fire code also lacked housing insurance and the connecting of gas pipes. \u2022 Dubai, Qatar and Bahrain took the lead by making it compulsory for every home to have a fire extinguisher installed. This step was taken to materialize safety for inhabitants and their neighborhood from the dangers of fire. It is well known that fire can easily move from one house to another, expanding away from the original source. Therefore, negligence in handling fire flames lead to inevitable accidents. \u2022 Today, Egypt is witnessing increasing rates of natural gas pipelines being connected to homes. This goes hand in hand with an increasing percent of fire risks which typically start in the kitchen.
